BECKOV CASTLE

Although this Castle is in ruin, this is one of the 3 coolest looking castle ruins on my list to ‘’Must see’’. Only an hour drive from Bratislava and you can make some incredible pictures of this place and learn bit of history, and of course, some legends associated with this castle. The legend to this one is bit crazy though! More info during my tour…

STREČNO CASTLE

One of my favorite ruins! If you are fond of horror movies and bloody stories, you will enjoy this one. This castle was owned by the first documented serial killer...Elizabeth Bathory - The Blood Countess. Not many people know that this castle was used as one of the locations of the famous first “Dracula” silent movie ‘Nosferatu’. Are you interested in more? It will be my pleasure to tell you all I know about this place, while you can enjoy the magnificent Mountain View!

ORAVA CASTLE

Even though, this castle is bit further from Bratislava, it is definitely worth seeing. It is just a magnificent building on top of mountain. According to the folk legend, this castle was build by Devil himself. It’s look is truly magical. This castle was also a location for the film “Nosferatu”! More on my tour…

LEDNICE-VALTICE

Believe or not, this amazing “Versailles” like castle complex is only an hour drive from Bratislava, and have lot to offer. From palaces, gardens, lakes, boats, horse carriages, monuments (Obelisk). PERNŠTEJN CASTLE

In my opinion, this is one of the coolest castles in Czech. Not that far from Bratislava. This jewel is standing on a hill, waiting to tell it’s story. It is a bit of hike up the hill, but once you get there, you will be glad because it is a awesome to see it. More on my tour...
